About Paula Oliveira
Paula Oliveira's new album is born in book form and is a tribute to José Saramago. The singer presents us with nine compositions of her own for the writer's poetry, from the works: Possible Poems and Probably Joy. The musical aesthetics of the repertoire is a continuation of her career linked to jazz and Portuguese music. The musical writing was thought to be adapted to various types of formation from duet (piano and voice) or even quintet (voice, piano, double bass, drums and a wind instrument).
The online edition of the album is available on all streaming platforms and the physical edition, which was made available on July 7th this year, in book format, contains nine poems by José Saramago, scores of all songs besides a QR code that takes us to the whole digital universe of the album.
Singing José Saramago, Nobel Prize for Literature, the first ever awarded to a Portuguese-speaking writer, was a passionate discovery.
